“Cruise ships visiting Formentera during this season will anchor outside the oceanic posidonia as they will have to drop anchor away from zone two of the Port of La Savina, where the meadow of this marine plant is located.

As reported this week by the Consell de Formentera, this measure gives continuity to the commitment initiated in 2015 to preserve the posidonia meadows existing in this place, and which were declared a World Heritage Site in 1999.
