“The port of Alcúdia leads the annual growth in number of passengers in the total number of ports of the Islands, according to data provided by the annual report of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands.
The recently published data show eloquent results. The five ports of the community have had a total of 8.9 million passengers, which represents 8% more than in 2017. Of this total, some six and a half million would correspond to regular line users and almost two and a half million to cruise passengers. Although the general trend is upward, it should be noted that one port, Mahón, has decreased by 11%, while Palma is growing by a significant 17%. On the other hand, La Savina and Eivissa are growing more modestly, with 4% and 2% respectively.
